The disclosure in one sentence
When you click certain links on this site and then buy something, we may receive a commission from the retailer. You pay exactly the same price either way, and the commission does not influence what we recommend or how we rank products.

kittynex.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

We name every program we earn from, because that is the fact that matters to you: you can see exactly where our commercial interest sits.

We do not publish the individual commission rates we are paid. Those are commercial terms between us and each merchant, they change without notice, and a percentage on this page would tell you less about our incentives than the list above does. What matters is that we are paid by some of the products we cover, and that the payment never decides the outcome.
A higher rate never buys a better position in our rankings. We have recommended products that pay us nothing, and where a product that pays us well has a problem, we say so.
We may also earn from other programs in future. When we do, this table will be updated.
How affiliate links are identified
- Outbound commercial links are marked in the page’s HTML with
rel="sponsored", following search engine guidelines on link attribution. - Where a link is part of a product recommendation, the recommendation itself names the retailer or program.
- Each article carries a short disclosure line at the top, before any affiliate link appears, so you see it before you can act on a recommendation.
- Block-level recommendations are visually set apart so they are not mistaken for body copy.
A disclosure only works if you see it before you click. That is why it sits at the top of the article rather than in the footer.
What we will never do
- We do not accept payment for a positive review. Merchants cannot buy a placement, a score, or a recommendation in our editorial content.
- We do not accept free products or gifts in exchange for coverage. We have not been given products by any manufacturer named on this site.
- We do not allow a merchant to review or approve our editorial articles before publication. Sponsored content is different, and the two are never mixed — see the labelling rules below.
- We do not hide a recommendation inside a list of hashtags or bury the disclosure where it is easy to miss.
- We do not claim experience we do not have. Every article states plainly what we base our conclusions on, and where we have not handled a product we say so.
Editorial independence
Commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions. Where we could not verify a claim against a primary source, the article labels it as unverified rather than dressing it up as fact. Our full method is described in our Editorial Policy and our How We Research page.
If the product we would recommend is one that pays us nothing, we still recommend it. If the product that pays us most has an unresolved reliability problem, we say so.
Prices and availability
Prices shown on this site are indicative and may be out of date. Retailers change pricing, stock, bundle contents, and warranty terms constantly, and we cannot monitor every listing continuously. Every price in an article reflects what we found in the sources listed at the bottom of that article on the date printed there. Always confirm the current price, the included accessories, and the warranty at the retailer before you buy. Section 6 of our Terms of Service sets out the limits of our product information.
Sponsored content and how it is labelled
We distinguish two kinds of content on this site, and they never blur into each other.
Editorial content is what we research and write on our own initiative. No manufacturer, brand, or retailer pays for it, reviews it before publication, or influences its conclusions. This is the overwhelming majority of the site.
Sponsored content is content paid for by a brand. We may publish it. When we do:
- it carries a clear label — “Sponsored” or “Paid partnership” — at the top of the article, above the fold, in a size and position that cannot be missed, and the label is visible before any content or link;
- it is excluded from our rankings, scores, and “best of” lists, and it never counts as our independent verdict on a product;
- the brand may review its own sponsored draft for factual accuracy and brand voice, but cannot change a factual finding, insert a comparison claim in our voice, or veto a negative statement about its own product;
- the fact that it is paid is disclosed in plain language in the article itself, not only in a policy page;
- any claim in it must still be traceable to a source, the same as editorial content.
Sponsorship never buys a position in a ranking, a score, a recommendation, an editorial article, or the removal of a critical finding published elsewhere on the site.
